Something Was Wrong
Podcast: Something Was Wrong
Something Was Wrong proves reality is truly stranger than fiction.
I urge you to start with the latest season which features the story of two survivors, Danielle and Kenji, who were brought together by traumatic life circumstances.
Danielle meets a young medical resident who is so charismatic that she abandons her fear of commitment and marries him. Across town…
When Kenji refuses to give his wife a third child, he realizes that she may be seeking out other means of getting knocked up with a rich doctor that she met on a girls’ night. Hijinks ensue.
The creator, Tiffany Reese, interviews and shapes a narrative that’s driven by the victims/survivors’ own words, so there’s a reclamation of power happening.
She also brilliantly weaves in educational moments such as how to recognize gaslighting. Once you’ve binged the latest season, I suggest jumping back to Season 3.

Andrew Becker is the Founder and CEO of Renaissance People’s Media which intends to bring sincerity into the spotlight, through the power of pop culture. Last year, as Becker watched an overworked John King furiously manipulate a touchscreen map of the United States, he questioned who were the people who turned out to vote for Donald Trump. This question set him on a quest to understand the election the best way he could: One playlist, 435 songs.
Each artist was chosen to represent each and every geographically drawn congressional district in the country. Basically the same system as the lower chamber of the United States Congress, but with more MTV and less CSPAN.
The project took months of research, compilation, and curation.
